A Web 3.0 Adventure
Hello.
My name is Rachel Stone, and I was an employee at VitaXR, a now-defunct startup that created websites and "metaverse experiences" for brands. I've gotten very little closure from this messy time of my life, and for posterity, I thought I'd upload a few of the projects I worked on with this company.
These projects were not well optimized in their original form as interactive browser experiences, so I've compiled them in their original engine (Unreal Engine), which helps them run much smoother. I hope that some of you find these experiences interesting, and will agree with me when I say that the direction of my former boss was anything but conventional. Some of the decisions made in these projects are uncouth, to say the least.

Hey Kids! This is Advertising! Is a collection of immersive websites made by the defunct VitaXR company. This is an FMV adventure game made in two months for the Weirdcore Jam. It's kind of a slow burn but I promise that it escalates into something weirder and more liminal as it continues~ It takes around 1-1.5 hours to complete.
While this game was made specifically for the WEIRDCORE jam, it's a bit more conventional than some other weirdcore-genre stuff. Please forgive me!
The game is finished and fully playable but a few features aren't implemented yet, mainly subtitles and other quality of life stuff like "decent lighting." I'll throw that in there eventually i'm sure... eventually....

I had a genuine "lol" when I clicked the link to Lindt's actual virtual store (which was severely lacking a 18+ room, obviously)
how exactly do I get through the beta tooth maze? because im not sure whether or not this is a bug or not but not even a second after I go through the entrance danny junior just kills me right on the spot before I can even do anything. if you reply to this thanks in advance
Oh shoot, I'm sorry I think that's a bug 😠thanks for letting me know! He stops moving after he catches you, and then will start chasing you again after he sees you, so if he's camped right on the the spot where youre teleported in then thats not good, i should have thought about that!

all good things like this slip through the cracks all the time nobodies perfect lol. sucks im going to have to reset everything lol but i enjoy the concept well enough and danny is most definitely a charming and entertaining character. very quick reply though which I hugely appreciate the way the game all of a sudden takes a very dark turn and he starts vetting out some of his own personal experiences about himself and the companies he sponsored for in question completely caught me off guard. was not expecting this to be a horror game.

Commenting here to let you know that the bug has been FIXED and I also added a thing in the options menu to let you restart a website instead of the whole entire game if there are any more softlocks. Kinda too little too late for you but putting this here in writing in case anyone else gets stuck at a different point.

How do I collect the golden truffle that's among the placeholder Truffles?Oohh, sorry, that one's not communicated super well TBH! Look for a coupon code in the "placeholder matching game" area to the left of the flavor quiz, and you should be able to use it in the promotional code area of the shopping cart after you add the golden truffle :)
